PAX Online Day 4 Wrap Up

We’ve reticulated splines and have gathered the highlights from our 4th day of PAX Online.

A Hero for All: A Chat on Diversity with the Cast of Overwatch. Get to know the people behind your mains and how important seeing these characters is for them, as well as the players. Check back for the Q&A Panel with the Overwatch Voice Actors on Thursday at 10:45 AM

OMEN Underground Presents Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 Tournament. Nostalgia meets healthy competition on PAX Arena, including commentary from the pro skater himself. Congrats to Tyler Lagasse @tylerlasagna for skating like a pro and winning today’s title.

Jackbox Play Along is happening LIVE every day through Friday, tune in for some classic Jackbox party pack games, or get a sneak peak of their new party pack 7 coming out soon. All you need is a phone/browser to login and play with a room code or be part of the audience.

Animal Crossing Summer Olympiad. The Olympics have been ported to your tropical islands! Be inspired by these rambunctious villagers as they race, jump and net-whack their way to gold.

Ready to solve some puzzles & riddles? Wondering what those mysterious QR codes are in between streams? It’s not too late to create a team… 

The school store at PAX Online is running low on stock - pick up your collegiate wear and accessories before the semester ends. Merch (including PAX Explorers League items) will only be around until September 20.

PAX Online Day 3 Wrap Up

Well, hello there. Seems like it’s time for your daily PAX Online wrap-up. Usually on Day 3 of PAX it’s nearing the end of the show, but for PAX Online… the show has just begun. We’re especially excited to spend the week with YOU, the fans of PAX that make this feel like home.

Video Game Shark Tank: Pitch Your Dream Game! - The wildest games were pitched to our discerning panel of judges. Who got picked? Find out by watching the panel!

Design Club Live: Darkest Dungeon - The Extra Credits crew dove deep into the Lovecraftian Well that is Darkest Dungeon. From the pits of dimness and depravity they wrenched free what they could… a detailed analysis of the game’s design!

The Great Video Game Cook-off: From Power-ups to Power Meals - This panel is designed to sate your hunger for both food and content. Hear the story behind officially licensed cookbooks for World of Warcraft, Overwatch, Destiny, and more!

More panels stretch ahead, but if you’re in the mood for something a bit more interactive, be sure to visit PAX Online’s Steam Event where the developers partaking in PAX have shared an expansive array of free demos and streams. The PAX Rising collection and PAX Indie Showcase are where we’ve dropped some choice selections. Don’t let the week go by without trying them out.

PAX Online Day 2 Wrap Up

Any day PAX can raise $11,852 for Child’s Play Charity while watching a Make-a-Strip panel is a great day. Thanks to all of our donors making the world a better place.

During our extended global Saturday hours, our friends at EGX celebrated history in 20 years of Arkane Studios, and discussed the values of Mental Health and Tabletop.

What Does Roguelike Mean in 2020? An in-depth discussion of the origins of the roguelike subgenre from game devs who make them and play them.

Black in Gaming (BIG) Awards: They’re simply the best, and deserve to be celebrated.

Who is the Biggest Name in Games We Can Get to Join our Zoom? You’ll have a blast seeing who joins the call, from PA alumni and other crazy antics, who knows who they’ll call next!

Omegathon Round 1: Our Omeganauts found out QWOP is infuriating to play. We’re sure you’ll find much more enjoyable games to demo on the PAX & EGX Digital Show Floor.

Speaking of Omegathon, have you setup your Omegathon fantasy league? Join the Official PAX Online Discord and choose your players. Hint: You may have to play a bit of PAX Explorer in order to !look into how to make your fantasy picks.
